GIVE ME JESUS!!
This song is so AWESOME!!! I just keep listening to it over and over and over!!! (I wish I could figure out how to put a playlist on here!!) I want to praise Him "from the rising of the sun to the place where it sets" Ps 113:3. He has given me "immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us," Eph 3:20. I know I don't deserve it, but because He loves me, He blesses me!! I just want Him to know that in all things famine or FEAST, I will praise Him!!
I have had such a reputation for seeking, praising, and praying more during the famine!! I want him to know that, while life is good and there are no imminent valleys of tribulation, I WANT JESUS!!!! My heart aches for Him! "You can have all this world, Just give me JESUS!!!"
GIVE ME JESUS
by Jeremy Camp
In the morning, when I rise
In the morning, when I rise
In the morning, when I rise
Give me Jesus.
Give me Jesus,
Give me Jesus.
You can have all this world,
Just give me Jesus.
When I am alone,
When I am alone,
When I am alone,
Give me Jesus.
Give me Jesus,
Give me Jesus,
Give me Jesus.
You can have all this world,
Just give me Jesus.
When I come to die,
When I come to die,
When I come to die,
Give me Jesus.
Give me Jesus.
Give me Jesus,
Give me Jesus.
You can have all this world,
Just give me Jesus.
Give me Jesus.
Give me Jesus,
Give me Jesus.
You can have all this world,
You can have all this world,
You can have all this world,
Just give me Jesus.
Jesus,
You are my Redeemer and Friend! I just want to give you all the praise you deserve!! Thank you for your blessings!! Thank you for famine and feast. No matter what comes my way today, Lord, give me JESUS!!!!

What an awesome thought! Your perspective of soley desiring Jesus is His heart. Remembering the life and actions of Jesus depicted in scripture you can tell Jesus only wanted to relate to the Father. He was not concerned about His personal satisfactions. He was completely satisfied knowing He was doing the Father's will. What a place to be, satisfied doing the Father's will. I believe when one reaches that place all other things do begin to fade away.
